Roster Review: No. 74

We continue our roster review with a player who needs no introduction: No. 74, Ben Cleveland.

Cleveland has been an integral part of Georgia's offensive line for the past three seasons, and he's back for a senior year he hopes to make his best yet.

Injuries have plagued the Toccoa native over the course of his career, and he missed the Sugar Bowl against Baylor for academic reasons.

The good news is that Cleveland is expected to be good to go for the fall, and for the first time, doesn't appear to have as much competition for a starting job as he's faced in the past.

2019 Review

Cleveland played in Georgia's first 13 games, starting seven times.

The one time he didn't start was the Sugar Bowl, when academic issues kept him from making the trip to New Orleans.

When he did play, Cleveland played well.

His performance against Missouri earned Cleveland the SEC Offensive Lineman of the Week award, this coming after being named a member of the preseason All-SEC third team, by the media who cover the league.

Cleveland was also a regular member of Georgia's special teams.

2020 Preview

Cleveland is the longest-tenured member of the Bulldogs' offensive line, since redshirting as a true freshman in 2016.

The Bulldogs are counting on Cleveland putting last year's academic issues behind him and being a key leader for the group.

Mostly, however, coaches are counting on the veteran anchoring the offensive line at right guard. He should be in line to start following the transfer of Cade Mays to Tennessee.

Other Bulldogs who wore No. 74
