Here is the March 11 edition of The Daily Recap presented by My Perfect Franchise.

Is the quarterback job Stockton's to lose?

With Carson Beck off to Miami, Georgia will have a new starting quarterback for the first time in two years.

Conventional wisdom suggests that job will go to Gunner Stockton, who filled in for Beck in the SEC Championship and Sugar Bowl. However, Anthony Dasher said it's not out of the question for Ryan Puglisi to get a close look as well.

"Stockton will likely be the guy, but there’s going to be a lot of focus on Puglisi to make sure he’s ready simply because the next candidates available for spring are preferred walk-on Colter Ginn and Hezikiah Millender. Freshman Ryan Montgomery is also on campus but is still recovering from the torn ACL he suffered last year and is not expected to be cleared until June, per his father."

Georgia is becoming LBU

Georgia has long been known as RBU with its history at the running back position. In recent years, it's staked a claim for TEU, given what both Brock Bowers and Darnell Washington have done in college and early in their NFL careers.

But with what Georgia has produced at linebacker, there's a claim that the program could also be known as LBU as well. Dasher thinks this year's group can be just as strong as some of Kirby Smart's linebacking groups of years past.

"Rising junior CJ Allen is the leader of the group. Allen finished second on the team last year in tackles with 76, starting 12 of the 14 games he played," Dasher wrote. "The former Lamar County standout is the quarterback of defense, calling the defensive signals from his position at Mac. There’s plenty of talent alongside and behind him.

"Fellow junior Ralyen Wilson is expected to be the starter at Money. The Tallahassee native has a penchant for big plays, as he finished fifth on the team in tackles for loss with seven. There’s some significant talent waiting in the wings. Chris Cole flashed in a major way when the Bulldogs began using him in their third-down rush packages. At 6-foot-3 and 235 pounds, Cole went on to be named to the SEC All-Freshman team after making 16 tackles, including two for losses of four yards with a pair of key fumble recoveries. He also broke up a pass."
