Georgia offensive lineman Earnest Greene met with the media on Tuesday. Here are the key points from his press conference on the first day of spring practice.

Greene said the offensive line is "back to square one" and getting back to the basics as spring practice begins.

This spring is about "maxing everyone out" for Greene.

Greene said it doesn't do any good to dwell on the past and he's not sure what focusing on last year will do for the group heading into spring practice.

Greene feels nothing has changed in terms of people having to prove themselves on the offensive line every day at practice.

Quarterback Gunner Stockton's "consistency" stands out. Greene said Stockton is a very likable person.

Greene mentioned accountability is extremely important along the offensive line. The camaraderie and closeness are especially vital for that position group.

While it "wasn't an ideal situation" as far as Greene's health last year, he said football is a tough sport and you have to expect to play through injuries.

Greene is eager to see offensive lineman Jahzare Jackson after switching from basketball and joining the team last year. Greene said Jackson "took it on the chin" last year, but he's looking forward to seeing him on the field this spring.

Daniel Calhoun embraces the core values of the offensive line. He likes to work and get better every day.
