For the next Georgia career recap, we present Lorenzo Carter.

As a Bulldog, Carter experienced some highs and lows; still, a few times during his senior season the 6-foot-6 linebacker from Norcross, Ga., came up real big! Here’s a more in-depth look at Carter regarding his numbers while at Georgia:

Speaking of fumbles, one of Carter's biggest games was against Notre Dame this past season. In the second quarter, he forced a fumble recovered by the Fighting Irish—but in the second half, it was a different story. Late in the third quarter, Carter sacked the quarterback, forced a fumble and recovered it on the same play. Later, with the Dawgs up by one point with less than two minutes remaining, Notre Dame fumbled the ball and there was Carter again with the recoverythis time to seal the victory!

Carter also had a critical fumble recovery against Nicholls in 2016, scooping up a bouncing ball and racing 24 yards for a touchdown.

Another big play by Carter in which Georgia enthusiasts will always remember resulted in the Rose Bowl against Oklahoma. In the second overtime, he got his big right paw way up in the air as he came through the line, blocking a Sooner field goal attempt that would have given Oklahoma the lead. Instead, the Bulldogs got the ball and moments later scored a touchdown, sending them to the CFP National Championship.

It will be interesting to see where Lorenzo Carter will be selected in the NFL Draft and how he will fare at the professional level. Regardless, when it was all said and done, he was a Damn Good Dawg!

If case you missed any of them, here are the career breakdowns of other departing Dawgs: Sony Michel, Nick Chubb and Dominick Sanders.
