UGASports.com Games of the Week

The regular season is coming to a close for many high school programs and some of the biggest players are stepping up in the play-off run. UGASports.com is hitting the road big time this week and covering five games. We will be in three states and see some of the top high school, prep school, and JUCO talent out there.

Game of the week: Fork Union (4-5) at Hargrave (6-3)
Location: Chatham, Virginia
Date: November 3
Time: 1:00 est
UGA prospect(s) involved: 2007 Commitments Ben Harden, Clifton Geathers, and Justin Anderson.
Other 2007 prospects: Hargrave is loaded like always and some of their top prospects are Auburn commitment Chris Slaughter, Virginia Tech commit Ladi Ajiboye, Tennessee commit Brent Vinson, Louisville commit Kareem Crowell, and Clemson commit D'Andre McDaniel. Fork Union is home to guys like North Carolina commit Jarrell Miller and South Carolina commit Jeremy Davis.
What do we expect to see? We expect to see a lot of talented prospects out there. Last year, we were there and we saw a shoot out, but we could see more defense this year. Either way, we will have a chance to see a lot of future division one football players get after it.
What can you look for on UGASports.com? Expect a lot of sideline video of Harden, Anderson, and Geathers. We will have video, photos, and we will try to get post-game interviews as well. Look for blow-out coverage on these future Bulldogs.
That is game one of five that we will cover this week. We will also be in Charlotte (N.C.) to see a future Bulldog offensive lineman in action.
Game of the week: Concord (8-1) at Creekside (7-2)
Location: Charlotte, North Carolina
Date: November 3
Time: 7:30pm est
UGA prospect(s) involved: UGA Commitment Trinton Sturdivant.
Other 2007 prospects: South Carolina commit Michael Bowman and Virginia Tech commit Barquell Rivers.
What do we expect to see? This is a battle for the conference championship and the number-one seed in the play-offs, so we look for an exciting game. Both teams score points, so we look for a fairly high scoring game.
What can you look for on UGASports.com? Look for exclusive sideline video of Sturdivant and we will talk with him after the game about his performance, his commitment to UGA and more.
Those are two games we will be covering but our coverage doesn't stop there.
We will also have cameras in Fairburn, Tyrone and Milledgeville this weekend.
Cameras will be locked in on 2008 athlete that holds a Georgia offer Friday night in Tyrone at the Cass/Sandy Creek game. We will get a close look at Richard Samuel to see what he is all about live. We will have exclusive sideline video of him on offense and defense.
Also on Friday, we will have a camera locked in on Creekside's Eric Berry and two of the states top junior prospects. The 2008 prospects are Terrance Parks of Creekside and Darrell Simmons of Banneker.
We all know about Berry, and we will be focused on him again as he makes play after play, week after week, but we will also get an early look at defensive back Parks and athlete Simmons.
The coverage doesn't stop there. We will be at Georgia Military College on Saturday November 4 to cover their last home game.
GMC has many prospects and the top Bulldogs are defensive lineman Jarius Wynn, offensive lineman Vince Vance, linebacker Boston McCornnell, offensive lineman Dion Small, injured defensive lineman Corvey Irvin.
Look for exclusive sideline video clips of Vance and Wynn. See them up close in action from their defensive end and offensive tackle positions.
You will be able to find all the photos, video, interviews and Inside Scoop on UGASports.com.
