Despite four losing seasons in a row, Georgia head baseball coach Scott Stricklin will return as the Bulldog skipper next season.

Stricklin was in a players meeting when he confirmed the news to UGASports.

It is believed Fred Corall, the Georgia pitching coach, will be relieved of his duties per sources close to the situation. No other coaching changes are expected at this time.

Many fans and even some lettermen were hoping to see a change at the top, but Georgia athletic director Greg McGarity is sticking with the embattled coach.

The Bulldogs went 25-32 this season with an 11-19 record in the SEC. Last year, Georgia went 27-30 while facing the nation's toughest schedule. Stricklin's freshman recruiting class for this year was ranked No. 4 nationally.
