Mark Bowman didn't actually take his official visit to Georgia over the weekend. But this trip came as close as possible to an official visit experience.

The elite tight end from California arrived in Athens on Wednesday night and stayed until Sunday. Bowman spent a boatload of time with Bulldog coaches watched Georgia's annual G-Day game on April 12.

Those experiences helped Georgia continue to hold its place as a favorite in Bowman's recruitment.
