In a bit of surprise, linebacker MJ Sherman has entered the NCAA transfer portal.
Sherman saw extensive action with the Bulldogs, albeit mostly on special teams. He played in all 15 games for the Bulldogs, making five tackles.
He had two solo tackles in kickoff coverage in win over Kent State and assisted on a tackle for lost yardage and had a QB pressure in win over Georgia Tech.
Sherman becomes the seventh Bulldog to enter the portal, joining Trezman Marshall, Arik Gilbert, Brett Seither, Ryland Goede, Jacob Hood, and Jaheim Singletary.
