Wide receiver Ladd McConkey made official what was already expected: he’s coming back for another season at Georgia.

He made the announcement on Instagram.

A key figure in Georgia’s passing attack, McConkey led all Bulldog wide receivers in catches with 58 for 762 yards and seven touchdowns.

His seven touchdowns tied tight end Brock Bowers for the team lead.

McConkey’s return adds to what is expected to be a deep and talented wide receiver corps for the Bulldogs next fall.

He’ll join the likes of Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint and Arian Smith, along with transfers RaRa Thomas from Mississippi State and Dominic Lovett from Missouri.

AD Mitchell has been rumored to be putting his name in the transfer portal, but so far has not done so.

Georgia is also set to return Dillon Bell, Cole Speer, and Jackson Meeks, along with incoming freshmen Anthony Evans III, Tyler Williams, and Yazeed Haynes.

Bulldog receiver Dominick Blaylock recently placed his name in the transfer portal, while Kearis Jackson announced he would be turning pro, and not be taking his Covid year for another season of eligibility.
