Mark Fox announced that sophomore guard Jordan Harris has been suspended indefinitely, according to an email Saturday to beat writers by UGA basketball spokesman Mike Mobley.

The Bulldogs are in Starkville, Miss., taking on Mississippi State.

With Harris suspended, sophomore Tyree Crump will make his first start of the year.

A native of Iron City, Ga., Harris has seen significant playing over the past few weeks, including a 23-minute stint in the Bulldogs’ 72-60 win over Florida, finishing with seven points.

Harris did not make the trip to Starkville, according to Mobley.

He did not play in Georgia’s first two games against Bryant and USC-Upstate.
