Georgia's secondary has suffered its first loss in the transfer portal.

Cornerback Jaheim Singletary plans to enter the NCAA transfer portal, UGASports has confirmed. Jake Rowe of Dawgs HQ reported the news first.

Singletary ranked as the No. 10 overall prospect and No. 2 corner recruit in the 2022 class. He appeared in two games for the Bulldogs this season.

At the media day before the Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl, Singletary spoke with UGASports about his freshman season. At that point, Singletary said he didn't anticipate entering the transfer portal at the end of the season.

"I’m not really looking into (transferring) though because I’ve just seen myself getting way better this year as a man on and off the football field," Singletary said. "There’s bigger aspects to it, you feel me? You can’t just do. You’ve just got to wait your turn, you feel me? Your time will come. I’d say be patient and just learning. Just got to sit back and learn."
