Georgia defensive tackle commit Devonte Wyatt was split between the Bulldogs and the South Carolina Gamecocks as recently as last night. He had previously been committed to South Carolina and a recent official visit there raise the specter of Wyatt flipping back to the Gamecocks.
"I am 50-50," Wyatt told UGASports last week regarding his commitment status with the Bulldogs.
Well, now he is 1oo percent committed and will sign with Georgia on Wednesday.
Brian Montgomery, Wyatt's head coach at Towers High School, confirmed the news to Chris Clarke of Gamecock Central.
"It was close but that is just where his heart was," Montgomery said.
