Who will Pugh choose on Friday

The University of Georgia has been rolling in recruiting here lately after a little bump in the road earlier this spring. A couple prospects de-committed early in May, but since then UGA has picked up big time commitments from Rivals 100 receiver Tavarres King and potential four-star linebacker Christian Robinson. Will the Dawgs land another big one on Friday June 1? Charlotte (N.C.) defensive back Makiri Pugh will announce his decision this afternoon and the Dawgs are in the mix.
"I will be making my decision known around 4:00pm EST Friday afternoon at Velocity Sports in Charlotte," said Pugh. "I train over there and know some of the people, so they are giving me a chance to make this a special moment on Friday."

Trainer Vance Jacobs of Velocity Sports is helping Pugh put everything together and he talks about the prospect's big day.
"Makiri and Independence Head Coach Tommy Knotts will be coming over around 4pm and I know Makiri's family, some local media and others will be here as well."
"We will have everything set up for Pugh and make it nice for him. We will have some banners out, he will have the hats on the table and then he will call the coach that he is committing to right there in front of everyone when he announces his commitment."
The questions are, what hats will be on the table and who will Pugh be calling on the phone Friday afternoon. A new program offered Wednesday, but it doesn't look like their hat will make it to the table.
"It is Clemson, Georgia Tech, Georgia and Virginia," said Pugh about the schools in the race. "Virginia Tech has been on me and they offered me this week, but they came in a little too late."
"I have already visited those four schools I listed and I found what I was looking. I found a school that had everything I needed and everything I wanted."
Does that mean that Pugh already knows where he is going to college?
"Yes sir, my mind is already made up," said the 5-foot-11, 194-pound cornerback that runs the 40-yard dash in 4.42-seconds. "I have researched all the schools, talked with the coaches, visited the campuses and I have found the one school I was looking for."
"I have made my mind up and I feel very good about it. My decision is made and I am one-hundred percent committed to that school and I will let everyone know who that school is Friday at 4:00pm EST."

Quick Notes: Pugh is a defensive back out of a prestigious program in North Carolina. He has yet to lose a game at Independence and he has really emerged this spring. He entered the month of May with only one offer, but now has over ten. He is a physical player and his position on the next level is corner. He grew up playing running back and he just made the move to corner and as a junior he had 61-total tackles, 2-interceptions, 9-pass break-ups and 1-fumble recovery.
Not only is Pugh a stand out on the football field, but he is in the classroom as well. He has a 3.55-GPA and he has already scored a 1580 on the SAT. He is an honor student and on track to graduate next spring.
