Georgia has its third running back in the 2024 class.

Rivals100 running back Nate Frazier committed to the Bulldogs on Sunday afternoon. He chose Georgia over Oregon, Alabama, and Texas A&M.

Running backs coach Dell McGee worked to develop a relationship with Frazier after offering on March 23. The California prospect took an unofficial visit to Athens in April.

"Really the thing that was really interesting to me was how close Coach (Kirby) Smart is to the players," Frazier told UGASports after that visit. "He loves these guys and he treats them as one of his own. Then the fact that they are the RBU school. They’ve produced many great running backs, and Coach McGee is a great coach.”

That visit went so well that Frazier immediately expressed interest in returning for an official visit. His next trip east, however, came on another unofficial visit, the second weekend in June.

That weekend also saw running back Chauncey Bowens flip from Florida to Georgia. The visit generated plenty of momentum with Frazier as well.

"It was a lot of pressure, because you can see all these big linemen committed, the average is like 6-6, 350 pounds, they just won back-to-back national championships, they have a great running back coach, they have a great coaching staff, the vibe, the feel, everything was there," Frazier told Rivals analyst Adam Gorney. "Relationship-wise, family-wise, everybody has a great personality. I felt like I fit in with that school very well.”

Frazier also took visits to each of his finalists this summer. But in the end, the Bulldogs won out.

Frazier is the top-ranked all-purpose back in the class. As that designation would indicate, he has the ability to catch the ball out of the backfield as well as run between the tackles. His skillset is a great complement to fellow running back commits Bowens and Dwight Phillips.
