Player Countdown - No. 92 Neland Ball

Spring Review: Ball didn't practice this spring as he continued to recover from a bevy of injuries, most recently a shoulder issue that hampered much of his 2008 campaign. Ball did get into five games for Georgia last fall, recording one quarterback hurry but needs to get completely healthy before he can show coaches what he's truly able to do.

Fall Preview: A lot just depends on his health. Ball appears to be getting closer to 100 percent, and that's certainly good news as injuries have played havoc at defensive end for the better part of a year now. Ball won't content for a starting job just yet, quite frankly because he hasn't been healthy. But due to relatively low numbers, the opportunity will be to at least get in some plays.
