Jacksonville native Tyler Jordan has never been to the annual Georgia-Florida showdown but he's certainly no stranger to the game.
"No, but I live right across the river," Jordan said Tuesday night. "I can hear the game."
The 2015 offensive line target will be learning a lot more about the Bulldogs this weekend when he makes his first trip to Athens to take part in Georgia's Junior Day festivities on Saturday after offensive line coach Will Friend offered him a scholarship on Tuesday.
"This (offer) is a big deal," Jordan said. "Georgia is a school with a lot of tradition and it's a prestigious school."
A junior at Bishop Kenny High, Jordan already has an impressive list of offers from schools across the country.
Along with Georgia, Jordan holds SEC offers from the likes of Florida, South Carolina and Ole Miss. He also boasts ones from North Carolina, Miami, Nebraska, among others.
Jordan said he's excited to see what Athens is all about.
"I'm going to be looking to see how the coaches interact, see how it is talking with them," Jordan said. "I'll just go down there and keep my eyes open, take in as much as I can."
He'll be taking close notes.
Jordan said after every visit he makes the first thing he does is pull out his IPad and write down everything he likes and does not like about each school.
"I'm going to make my decision sometimes before my senior year or in the very beginning so I can finish my recruitment and basically focus on my senior season," Jordan said. "That's my plan."
