Georgia has its pied piper for the Class of 2019.

Defensive end Nolan Smith committed to the Bulldogs on Sunday afternoon after waking up that morning and deciding it was time.

"When I put on my Georgia shirt this morning. it felt nice," Smith said. "It felt really nice. I am starting New Breed 19 early."

Smith is the second commit for the Class of 2019, joining offensive lineman Luke Griffin. When Smith tweeted his announcement, he said he was the first but not he last.

"I know Luke," Smith said. "I didn't mean I was the first commitment."

No, Smith meant the first in-state prospect as he has plans for the Peach State. When asked who would be committing next, Nolan had a quick answer

"The whole of Georgia," Smith said. "We are all Dawgs and we are staying home."

Smith has been suspected of being a silent commit for a while.

"Me and the coaches had a nice long conversation before all of this really happened," Smith said. "It was a long time ago."

He called the coaches again today, about an hour before he went public.

"We are bringing in everybody. We are trying to win championships and play with savages," Smith said. "Coach Smart was real excited and he wants me to be a part of something special they are building."

As for everyone else he plans to recruit, Smith said he has a long list.

"We are plotting," Smith said. "We are going to build something beautiful at Georgia."
