Murray talks the future

Saturday's game against Georgia Tech is also Senior Day at Georgia, which will honor players like Christian Robinson, Cornelius Washington, Shawn Williams, Bacarri Rambo and Tavarres King, each of whom will be making their final appearance in Sanford Stadium.
They may not be alone.

The third-ranked Bulldogs (10-1) also have a number of underclassmen who could well declare for the NFL Draft, including junior linebackers Jarvis Jones and Alec Ogletree.
But what about quarterback Aaron Murray?
A redshirt junior, Murray isn't considered by most draft experts to be either a first- or second-round pick, although former Tampa Bay and Indianapolis coach Tony Dungy thinks the Bulldog quarterback could go even higher.
On Monday, Dungy responded to a question on Twitter asking what quarterback the Kansas City Chiefs should take with their first- or second-round pick in the NFL Draft.
"I would take Georgia QB Aaron Murray if he decided to come out," tweeted Dungy, whose son - Oregon wide receiver Eric Dungy - played wide receiver with Murray at Plant High.
"That was pretty crazy," Murray said Tuesday. "I had some people tweeting me about that. Coach Dungy, obviously I played with his son Eric at Plant and got to know him pretty well. He'll shoot me a text every now and then, saying good luck and things like that He's just an unbelievable coach and an unbelievable guy."
So could Saturday's game against Georgia Tech (noon, ESPN) also be Murray's final one in Sanford Stadium?
"I don't know (laughing). I'm not thinking about that. I've got friends, everyone asking about that, but I don't know," Murray said. "After the season I'll sit down with my family and make the best decision for myself and my future but right now I'm having too much fun right now. This season has been awesome and there's so much ahead of us and so much excitement I really haven't had time to think about anything else. I'm just living in the moment."
The quarterback said he doesn't expect to feel any "weirdness" on Saturday, not knowing whether or not it might be his final home game.
"I haven't really thought about that. I'm really just focused on the seniors because I know it's going to be pretty emotional," Murray said. "I remember my brother (Josh Murray). He was here just a year or two and he was pretty pumped for his last game against Georgia Tech. It's an emotional time for those guys and I'm more worried about sending them out on the right foot."
Should he decide to come out, Murray would certainly have the numbers to warrant a jump.
Currently, Murray lads the nation in passing efficiency at 174.3 and with 14 more passing yards will become the first SEC quarterback to have three consecutive seasons with 3,000-plus yards passing.
"I've never been the guy that' worried about record. The only thing I care about is the win-loss column," Murray said. "Something I came here to do is win championship and right now we have the opportunity to do that. Obviously, right now we are extremely focused on Georgia Tech, but it's going to be a very exciting month and half."
