Longtime University of Georgia radio announcer Larry Munson is recovering from recent surgery, according to an announcement by family members.
Munson on Friday underwent a procedure to remove a subdural hematoma, a condition in which blood collects on the surface of the brain. While his recovery period is not yet clear, he is expected to recover fully from the procedure.
