Lomax arrested in Athens

According to the Athens-Clarke County online jail report, UGA senior defensive end Jeremy Lomax was arrested and booked for "speeding" and "carrying a concealed weapon".
He was released on $3,000.00 bond. There are not additional details at this time.

Lomax finished spring camp as the starter opposite junior Roderick Battle. Several players, primarily Demarcus Dobbs and Jarius Wynn were push Battle and Lomax for the starting spots, along with while Michael Lemon, Neland Ball, and Justin Houston.
The Bulldogs also have two freshmen defensive ends, Jeremy Longo and Cornelius Washington beginning their careers in August.
