Jonathan "Bo" Hughley commits to Georgia

Class of 2023 offensive tackle Jonathan “Bo” Hughley has committed to the Georgia Bulldogs. Georgia beat out Georgia Tech, Ole Miss, Miami, and several others for the commitment of the 6-foot-7, 270-pound native of Fairburn, Georgia.

Georgia first offered dual-sport athlete Hugley on October 7, 2020.

The junior offensive tackle brings to mind Broderick Jones as a prospect. Jones experienced his fair share of success on the hardwood and so has Hughley during his time at Langston Hughes High School. The football skills and athleticism of Hughley’s basketball background are on full display when Hugley has a good strike at the point of contact with his hands as a run blocker. Hughley can run very well and will have no problem being asked to pull and block in gap scheme runs or to release out on the perimeter in blocking on screen passes.

Hughley is one of many high-profile offensive linemen that Georgia is recruiting in the Class of 2023. Landing a player the caliber of Hughley is an excellent start for offensive line coach Matt Luke’s attempt to signing yet another strong offensive line class. Madden Sanker, Miles McVay, Cayden Green, and Brycen Sanders are major targets in the same class along with Hughley.
