Ingram-Dawkins forced to answer for failure to appear

Georgia defensive lineman Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins was arrested on Monday and charged with failure to appear in Athens-Clarke County Municipal Court over an unpaid parking ticket, after being cited for parking in a handicapped spot.

Ingram-Dawkins was pulled over for speeding on I-85 in Franklin County on Monday at 9:34 a.m.

After police ran his information, it was discovered he had a previous warrant in Athens-Clarke County for failure to appear in municipal court.

According to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department, Ingram-Dawkins was cited for going 90 mph in a 70 mph zone

He was released on a $13 bond after 50 minutes after being booked into the Clarke-County jail at 4:05 p.m.

Ingram-Dawkins played in 14 games for the Bulldogs last fall, making 10 tackles. He’s expected to play an integral role on Georgia’s defensive line this season.
