The skinny on Little from UGASports.com: As a junior Heyward had over 100 tackles and double digits in sacks at Whitfield Academy. Last summer he transferred over to Peachtree Ridge late in the summer, so his numbers (48 tackles / 2 sacks) were down a bit. He had to learn a new system for Coach Armstrong and the Lion staff. Heyward has focused a lot of his time on basketball growing up, but he started to recognize his potential in football. He has the size, athleticism, and intelligence to be as good as he wants to be on the gridiron. Keep a close eye on Heyward as he could emerge as one of the top Peach State prospects in the class of 2007.
