There is another Fegans coming through Oxford High in Alabama. If you live in that area, or cover Alabama recruiting, you have hard that last name a lot over the years, and there is another one to know.
Trequon Fegans is a four-star defensive back in the 2022 class, but his younger brother, Anquon Fegans, has quickly put his name on the map too.
The 5-foot-11, 160 pounder is only in the 8th grade, and he picked up his first offer — it came from Georgia.
The Bulldogs are in heavy pursuit of the junior, and he played a role in this offer.
"Trequon was on the phone with a Georgia coach, and he was showing coach my film, and the coach said he is going to get back with me shortly," said Fegans. "After a few days, he texted Trequon and said we are going to offer your brother."
The 2025 prospect couldn't believe it.
"I didn't see my first offer coming this early, so it was a big surprise. It felt great when I got the offers and it was a great blessing."
This is just the beginning for Fegans. He has already been talking about playing with his brother on the next level, and now Georgia has given him that opportunity.
Others will do the same, but the school that plays between the hedges is the one on his mind today.
"Georgia has a great football program and we already have a former Oxford player there in Clay Webb. I love the defense that Georgia has and it’s a blessing to receive an offer from the University of Georgia."
Fegans grew up a fan of Auburn, and you can expect the Tigers to get involved down the road.
