Georgia has the attention of one of the nation's top 2025 defensive prospects.

Jared Smith is an edge rusher out of Birmingham. The high school sophomore made the two-hour trip east to Atlanta to take in Georgia's season opener against Oregon.

The 49-3 victory by the Bulldogs left quite the impression on Smith.

"Georgia is the real deal," Smith said.
