Jared Curtis' recruitment won't make it until the summer after all.

The five-star quarterback from Nashville announced a commitment date of May 5 on Monday. Despite official visits planned to finalists Georgia and Oregon, Curtis plans to commit in just a few weeks.

The new date comes after March visits to both Athens and Eugene.

"I like my relationship with Coach Bobo and Coach Smart. They've been there since Day 1 and I've been talking to them, building up my relationship with them," Curtis recently told Rivals. "Keep building that relationship with them is important because I can definitely see myself there. I've been talking to them on a weekly basis, and when I go up there, they teach me a little bit of the offense each times I go."

Curtis isn't the only quarterback Georgia is after.

The Bulldogs hosted Jaden O'Neal and Bowe Bentley on campus over the past week. Georgia is also heavily recruiting Landon Duckworth.

Still, Curtis is and has long been the top priority target. The world now knows when he will declare himself to be either a Bulldog or a Duck.
