Dawgs lead for five-star ILB

he's widely regarded as one of the better recruiters in the Southeast. It didn't
take long for the Bulldogs to see benefit of his pull on the recruiting trail.
On Monday afternoon the nation's No. 1 inside linebacker, five-star prospect
Ben Davis (Gordo, Ala./Gordo), announced his top five
schools with the Bulldogs coming in at the top overall spot.

Georgia extended a scholarship to the Alabama native with Jeremy Pruitt as
the defensive coordinator for the Bulldogs, but most felt it would be tough to pry
him out of Alabama. With Smart now on Georgia's side, Davis becomes a name
Bulldogs fans need to keep an eye on with signing day less than two months away.
