Dawgs dip back into Pennsylvania with offer to rising star Donovan McMillon

There's been plenty of talk about Elijah Jeudy and his relationship with the Bulldogs of late, but the staff is keeping tabs on another fast-rising prospect in the Keystone State.

On the western side of Pennsylvania from Jeudy, 6-foot-2, 193-pound defensive back Donovan McMillon of McMurray's Peters Township High recently added his offer from the Bulldogs.

"I had a great twenty minute conversation with Coach Charlton Warren. He talked to me about how I could fit into any of the four DB positions in their defense," McMillon said. "I think he's an excellent coach and an even better person. He was so relatable."

And when the news of an offer came, it was hard to contain the emotion.

"I was so excited to be offered by such an insane SEC school," McMillon said.

The three-star rising senior wants to visit as soon as it is possible

"For sure. I can't wait to get down there and see what Georgia's all about," McMillon said. "I think of Georgia as a legit SEC contender every year. I know that they are the Bulldogs, and the play like 'Dawgs' on the field."

He's already got a little insight into the program and area, however.

"I saw D'Andre Swift score something like five touchdowns in the Pennsylvania state championship, and my aunt also used to live in Atlanta," McMillon said.

Georgia isn't alone in pursuit, however, with the likes of Oklahoma, LSU, and Miami among the recent offers.

"To be the best fit, I have to keep building a great relationship with the coaches. It has to be the best school for myself and my family," McMillon said. "I definitely want to play early. I want to be surrounded by people that have the same goals as me and that are naturally great people. I want to find a home away home."
