According to the ACC online jail report, Jackson was arrested at 2:26 a.m. and released at 4:19 after posting bond.
Friday afternoon, head coach Mark Fox was unsure whether Jackson would play in Saturday's game against South Carolina.
"Albert's situation will be dealt with internally," Fox said. "This stems from something that happened two years ago that he just failed to take of. Obviously, two years ago I wasn't here and I don't know the details of that."
Jackson has been averaging 17.9 minutes for the Bulldogs, tallying 3.5 points and 3.7 rebounds per game.
Georgia hosts South Carolina Saturday afternoon at 4.
