Georgia will once again have a new face at left tackle next season.
Broderick Jones announced on Friday afternoon that he will be foregoing his senior season and declaring for the 2023 NFL Draft.
The Lithonia native first got serious action toward the end of last season. He played most of the national championship game at left tackle after Jamaree Salyer moved to guard.
In 2022, Jones started all 15 games at left tackle for the Bulldogs. Jones earned Associated Press All-SEC first-team honors for his play.
Georgia will now turn to a new face to protect the quarterback’s blind side. Amarius Mims, Earnest Greene, and Austin Blaske are a few that will get a look.
