Behind the Scenes: Why Kristopher Jones committed to Georgia
It took Kristopher Jones all of one weekend to be fully sold on Georgia.
The Bulldogs had appeared to be looking up at SEC rival Florida for a good chunk of 2023. Then Jones took an official visit to Georgia June 16-18, flipping his recruitment on its head.
The Rivals250 linebacker from Virginia committed to the Georgia coaches just a couple of days after that visit. Now he's publicly on board as the 26th commit in Georgia's top-ranked 2024 class.
"I’m just trying to work hard, prepare, and bring back that natty next year," Jones said.
