2025 Rivals100 offensive lineman Micah DeBose commits to Georgia

Georgia has added its fourth commitment in the Class of 2025.

Rivals100 offensive lineman Micah DeBose committed to Georgia on Saturday afternoon. The native of Prichard, Alabama, is ranked as the No. 39 overall prospect in the 2025 class.

The Bulldogs offered DeBose on April 7. The then-high school freshman visited Athens that day, getting a tour of the campus and watching the Bulldogs practice.

DeBose returned to Athens for the Georgia Tech game last November.

"I love Georgia," DeBose told UGASports at the time. "Coach Smart is really doing something with that program."

The Bulldogs topped Georgia Tech 37-14 that day. Georgia's offense made an impression on DeBose as he watched from the stands.

"Their offense is very explosive. I love an explosive offense, and they all do their job," DeBose said. "As an offensive lineman, you love to see your running back do good in the run game. It means you're doing your job."

DeBose attended Georgia's championship celebration and parade in Athens on Jan. 14. His favorite part of the day came in Sanford Stadium, when the Bulldogs celebrated and Kirby Smart addressed the crowd.

The events of the day proved to be enough to secure DeBose's commitment for the Bulldogs.

DeBose is Georgia's fourth 2025 commit. He joins linebacker Jadon Perlotte, defensive lineman Justus Terry, and running back Jabree Coleman in the class.
