Spring Review: A former walk-on, Faloughi impressed coaches so much that he was awarded a scholarship by head coach Mark Richt shortly before the end of spring practice. When he first arrived at Georgia as walk-on, the former Evans standout weighed just 218 pounds, but has added almost 30 more to his 6-foot-5 frame and impressed position coach Todd Grantham enough to list him No. 2 on the depth chart at Will Linebacker behind Justin Houston going into preseason drills.
Fall Preview: Looking ahead, there's no reason to think that Faloughi - who takes over the No. 95 from former teammate Jeff Owens - won't at least be in some part of a rotation for the Bulldogs, who needed to move Darryl Gamble over from Mike linebacker to shore up the depth. Gamble is currently listed behind Cornelius Washington at Sam, along with Chase Vasser. Faloughi can also play Sam which only adds to his value.
There are currently no players that are wearing 96 right now, but in the past Georgia has had its share.
Dale Carver was a linebacker and defensive end for many of the great Bulldog teams from 1979 to 1982. He was starting end on the 1981 and 1982 SEC Champion teams and was the Defensive Captain his final season. He played one season in the NFL for the Cleveland Browns.
Brandon Coutu was Georgia's placekicker from 2004 to 2007. His first field goal came in his freshman year against Georgia Tech and he finished with 53 including six that were 50 yards or longer. His 80.3 percentage (53-for-66) is the highest of any Georgia player in history. He was also perfect on extra points as he nailed all 114 in his career.
96 was also a good number for Ben Zambiasi. He led the Bulldogs in tackles for three straight seasons in the 1970's and is Georgia's all-time leader in total tackles with 467. But in 1977, he tallied
96 primary tackles which is still a Bulldog record today.
96 was the
number of yards for which a trio of Bulldogs have returned kickoffs for touchdowns in a game.
Lamar 'Racehorse' Davis was the first to this feat when he scampered 96 yards against Tulane in 1940. Jimmy Campagna did it in 1952 against Auburn
and finally the speedster Gene Washington did the same in 1973 against Clemson.

Former walk-on and now scholarship outside linebacker
Reuben Faloughi currently wears number 95 right now. In high school he lettered in football, basketball, soccer and track; so let's see if he can blend those all together and do some damage on the gridiron this fall.
One of the most popular Georgia Bulldogs of all time also wore
95… although a lot of his popularity did not come in football, it came in another sport (sort of).
Bill Goldberg starred for Georgia from 1986 to 1989. He was the defensive captain in 1989. He played briefly in the NFL for the Los Angeles Rams and the Atlanta Falcons. But the world of professional wrestling is where he got known worldwide. "Goldberg" won 173 matches in a row and defeated Hulk Hogan on July 6, 1998 at the Georgia Dome to win the world championship title. He was on "Celebrity Apprentice" and now is the host of "Garage Mahal" on the DIY (Do It Yourself) Network.
As Goldberg would say… "Who's Next?"
A former player who
we can't see wrestling is punter Gordon Ely-Kelso. The Clarke Central product punted the ball more times and for more yards than any other Bulldog in history. He punted the ball 224 times for 9,003 yards. He was named 2nd team All-SEC by both the AP and by coaches in 2005.
Caleb King is no stranger to the number 95, as he ran for 95 yards in his collegiate debut. King had 95 yards on 12 attempts in the 2008 game against Georgia Southern. The 95 yards was more yards than starter
Knowshon Moreno had in that game (59) and it was more yards than Herschel Walker had in his collegiate debut back in 1980 (84).
1995 - Georgia Record: 6-6
Head Coach: Ray Goff
Captains: Brice Hunter, David Weeks, Paul Taylor and Phillip Daniels
1895 - Georgia Record: 3-4
Head Coach: Pop Warner
Captain: H.W. Stubbs
