Jacob Eason isn't the only Bulldog dealing with a injury entering Saturday's game at Notre Dame (NBC, 7:30 p.m.).
Right guard Solomon Kindley remains hampered by an ankle injury he suffered last week, while senior defensive back Aaron Davis is still recovering from a slight ailment to his hamstring.
"We hope Solomon is able to go. We are going to find out a lot more. We don’t know what the recovery did — not playing the other night. We find out where he is at a little more today. Same thing with AD (Aaron Davis)," head coach Kirby Smart said. "He got to play a little bit in the game. We think AD is going to be fine and good to go. And then Malkom (Parrish) again is week-to-week.”
If Kindley is not able to go, Georgia is expected to once again lean on Dyshon Sims at right guard, although junior Kendall Baker could be another option.
The Bulldogs certainly hope the veteran Davis is able to play, as he along with free safety Dominick Sanders are, by far, the most experienced in what is a young secondary.
Sophomore Tyrique McGhee would likely replace Davis if the injury persists.
