Northwestern (Miami, Fla.) defensive back Divaad Wilson pledged to the Florida Gators around National Signing Day last February, but today per 560WQAM, it was the Bulldogs who won out.
After the Florida staff was unloaded and a new staff was brought in, the 6-foot, 183-pound corner backed off that pledge earlier this month.
The addition of Wilson gives the Bulldogs its third defensive back commitment for the class.
The south Florida corner has accumulated 16 total offers throughout his recruiting process, and chose Georgia over Florida, Louisville, and several others today.
Wilson brings the size and speed that Kirby Smart and Mel Tucker are looking for in the secondary in Athens.
