Pat’s Weekly Stat (you likely won’t see anywhere else): Jacob Eason’s 20-yard game-winning touchdown pass to Isaiah McKenzie at Missouri is historical in UGA football lore for not only the obvious reason, but it also established the first 300-yard passing performance for Georgia’s freshman quarterback. Therefore, making only his second career start in three games, Eason became the second-fastest Bulldog according to his career start number to pass for 300 yards in a single game.
I did some research, discovering the initial—and, for some, the only—300-yard passing performance for Georgia players. The 15 Bulldogs to pass for 300+ yards are ranked by the career start number whereby they initially achieved as much, while ties are broken by the lower career game number whereupon they first reached the 300-yard mark.
