“I was choosing from five great schools, but I knew on Saturday that it would be Georgia and I decided to go ahead and make it official,” said Watts. “Playing for Georgia is where I’ve always wanted to play and after this weekend’s game I had seen all I needed to see to know that’s where I wanted to be.”
The 6-foot-5, 290 pound Watts chose Georgia over Auburn, Florida State, Notre Dame and Stanford.
The Bulldogs have long been considered the leader in this recruiting battle as Watts grew up a fan of the Dawgs and his brother was a member of the University of Georgia, “Redcoat Marching Band.”
“Choosing Georgia was not a hard decision at all, but not choosing some of those other great schools was, but it’s always been Georgia, I just had to follow my heart.”
Seth has helped pave the way to a 2-0 start for Washington County with a 76-0 win over Johnson County and a 28-0 win over Dublin.
He is coached by Rick Tomberlin.
