Dawgs get 2015 commit

The Georgia coaching staff is currently working hard on the 2014 class, but the Bulldogs added a 2015 commitment in Griffin wide receiver Christian Owens at the annual G-Day Spring Scrimmage on Saturday.
Griffin head coach Steve Devoursney confirmed Owen's commitment in a phone conversation with UGASports Saturday afternoon.

"Yes sir. He committed to Georgia today," Devoursney said. "They offered him as a wide receiver or tight end type last week."
Owens, who is 6-foot-5, 205 pounds, is Georgia's first commitment of 2015.
Owens later spoke by phone to UGASports.
"Growing up here in (Georgia) I've always wanted to be a Georgia Bulldog and when the opportunity came I had to seize it," he said. "It really meant alot to me being in a meeting with coach Mark Richt and talking to him so I commited."
