Commings arrested
Georgia cornerback Sanders Commings remains in the Clarke County jail following his arrest on domestic violence/simple battery, the Atlanta Constitution reported Saturday.
He was later released on bond on a $1,000 bail after being booked into jail at 9:06 Saturday morning.

According to the paper, police were summoned to a disturbance downtown at approximately 1 a.m. Saturday where witnesses claim Commings "struck a woman" later determined to be in a relationship with the rising senior.
Commings was later taken into custody at his apartment.
Georgia officials have yet to comment on the matter.
