Bulldogs in the NFL: Preseason Week 1

The NFL exhibition season is off and running.

For several former Bulldogs, they’re receiving their first taste of what life is like in the league.

Below, let’s catch up on how they and other Georgia players in the pros performed.

Las Vegas Raiders

Tight end Brock Bowers: Bowers lined up at fullback for a play in front of Zamir White for a play and caught a 13-yard pass. Bowers finished with two catches for 25 yards on two catches.

Running Back Zamir White: Speaking of White, he rushed three times for 23 yards, including a 2-yard touchdown.

Safety Chris Smith: Smith made one tackle.

Los Angeles Rams

Quarterback Stetson Bennett: Bennett started and played the whole game at quarterback against Dallas. Although it did not start so great with four interceptions, Bennett - 24 of 28 for 224 yards to go along with the four picks - threw the game-tying touchdown with a 13-yard touchdown pass on fourth down with four seconds left to former Alabama tight end Miller Forristtal. The extra point won the game for the Rams, 13-12.

Minnesota Vikings

Safety Lewis Cine: Cine made two tackles for the Vikings

Philadelphia Eagles

Running back Kendall Milton: Led all Eagles rushers with nine carries for 39 yards.

Defensive Lineman Jalen Carter: Carter did not make a tackle but tipped a pass.

Linebacker Nakobe Dean: Dean made one tackle and broke up a pass.

Linebacker Nolan Smith: Smith made three tackles and recorded a sack.

Cornerback Kelee Ringo: Ringo broke up two passes. He did not record a tackle.

Baltimore Ravens

Defensive end Tramel Walthour: Walthour had a good day, recording two tackles, including half a sack.

Pittsburgh Steelers

Running back Daijun Edwards: Edwards led all Pittsburgh rushers with three carries for 28 yards, including a touchdown on a 1-yard run.

Wide receiver George Pickens: Pickens caught two passes for 25 yards. He was targeted twice.

New York Giants

Wide Receiver Isaiah Mckenzie: McKenzie did not catch a pass but was targeted twice. He returned one kick for 26 yards and two punts for 13.

Linebacker Azeez Ojulari: Ojulari recorded two tackles.

Atlanta Falcons

Tight end Jon Fitzpatrick: Fitzpatrick caught two passes for 10 yards.

Tight end Charlie Woerner: Woerner played but did not catch a pass.

Linebacker Lorenzo Carter: Carter made one tackle.

Defensive lineman Zion Logue: Logue made one tackle

Miami Dolphins

Linebacker Channing Tindall: Tindall enjoyed a huge day, tying for the team lead with seven tackles, including a sack.

Washington Commanders

Wide receiver Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint: Jacksaint caught one pass for nine yards. He was targeted three times.

Running back D’Andre Swift: Swift had one carry for three yards and this reception:

Safety Tykee Smith: Smith made four tackles, tied for second on the team.

Punter Jake Camarda: Punted four times with a long kick of 51 yards.

Defensive lineman Malik Herring: Herring made two tackles

Wide receiver Mecole Hardman: Hardman did not catch a pass but fielded a kickoff for no gain.

Jacksonville Jaguars

Cornerback Tyson Campbell: Did not post any stats.

Defensive line Travon Walker: Did not post any stats.

Seattle Seahawks
