Georgia's relationship with Tamarion Watkins has escalated quickly.

The Bulldogs have recently begun communicating more with the Rock Hill, South Carolina, prospect. Watkins is listed as a safety, but Georgia sees him as a linebacker at the next level.

That's why it was Georgia defensive coordinator and inside linebackers coach Glenn Schumann who gave Watkins a Georgia offer on January 9.
