Spring Review: Tripp was moved over from the offensive line to defensive end – the position he originally signed to play at Georgia – and he responded with one tackle in the G-Day game.
Fall Preview: Tripp will be throw right into the mix, and should figure into the rotation in one form or the other. Tripp still has to pick up on some of the nuances of playing defensive end, but his attitude has been great and his effort has been lauded by teammates and coaches alike. He probably won't start, but he's obviously plenty of athletic ability to it will be interesting to see how he develops.
Note: Sports Information has informed us that Kiante Tripp is now listed as Number 83, just like defensive end Cornelius Washington. Since both can't wear 83, they will have to work out something prior to fall camp.
