One of Georgia’s defensive veterans is heading to the transfer portal.

Trezmen Marshall is planning to enter the portal. The inside linebacker’s decision comes after four seasons in Athens.

As a Super Senior, he will have two years of eligibility.

Marshall’s role mainly centered on special teams during his first three years. Injuries hampered his development and kept him off the field as well.

But 2022 saw him play his biggest role yet. Marshall appeared in 14 games, registering 19 total tackles, one sack, and one interception.

With Marshall gone, Georgia’s inside linebacker room will feature names such as Jamon Dumas-Johnson, Smael Mondon, Jalon Walker, Raylen Wilson, CJ Allen, and more next season.

Marshall is the sixth Bulldog to enter the portal. Arik Gilbert, Brett Seither, Ryland Goede, Jacob Hood, and Jaheim Singletary have all done the same.
