Of all the awards handed out during Saturday's Senior Gala, some of the biggest cheers were reserved for the winners of the annual Iron Man Award.

Talk about perseverance.

To qualify, a player must take part in every workout session, practice all 15 days of the spring, make every workout after G-Day, never miss part of practice from August until the end of the season and attend every class, study hall and tutor session.

This year, 17 Bulldogs pulled off the feat.

They include: Greg Bingham, Brandon Bogotay, Cory Campbell, Luis Capella, Orsoln Charles, Candler Cook, Eric Elliot, Austin Herod, Ethan Jackson, Ricky Lowe, Connor Norman, Taylor Maxey, Greg Mulkey, Mike Thornton, Evan Wells, Hugh Williams and Drew Wilson.
