AMERICUS - Georgia once again dipped into the southern part of the state to snag another top recruit, this time getting a verbal commitment from four-star defensive tackle Tyler Clark Friday night.

The 6-foot-3, 290-pound prospect received an offer from the Bulldogs a couple months ago. Clark immediately named Georgia his leader and the Dawgs never relinquished the lead.
Clark selected Georgia over offers from Auburn, Louisville and Wake Forest. The commitment is the first for the Bulldogs on the defensive line. Georgia reportedly leads for a few other top rated defensive tackles including Derrick Brown and Julian Rochester.
Clark is the eleventh commit overall for Georgia in the Class of 2016, and the eighth commit from the state of Georgia.
Much more to come.
