Fresh off his rookie season, former Georgia tight end Brock Bowers is still connected with the Athens community.

Bowers, who had a huge rookie campaign for the Raiders, will now be able to travel more easily between Las Vegas and Athens, thanks to his new partnership with AirStar Charter.

“AirStar, a leader in private aviation, is proud to announce its official partnership with one of football's most exciting rising stars- Brock Bowers,” the private jet company in Athens wrote in a release. “Known for his unmatched work ethic, game-changing plays, and relentless pursuit of excellence, Bowers represents the same elite standards AirStar delivers in the sky.”

Bowers has now become the second former Georgia player to strike a deal with AirStar. Just last summer, former Georgia quarterback Carson Beck announced a deal with the company.

"Yeah, overall, last year working with Carson Beck was really good for us as a company. ... So it definitely had a huge impact on it," AirStar vice president Jeremiah Stoddard said in an interview with UGASports. "And we got what we needed, working with Carson over the last year. And we figured it was a great opportunity to now be able to kind of branch away from specifically a college athlete but a former really good athlete in college that has had a good year as a rookie in the NFL as well."

With Beck having transferred to Miami, AirStar hopes to see similar success in their partnership with Bowers.

"Brock embodies performance at the highest level," Stoddard said in the company's release. "He trains with intensity, moves with purpose, and understands that every second counts—on the field and in the air.”

As a rookie, Bowers led the Raiders in receiving with 1,194 yards and five touchdowns on 112 receptions while playing in 17 games. He set the NFL record for most receptions by a rookie and receiving yards by a tight end.

Bowers capped off a successful rookie season with his first appearance in the Pro Bowl and was nominated as a first-team All-Pro.

Now, as Bowers is just the latest athlete to partner with AirStar. Stoddard says the company is "open" to other opportunities, which could see a current Georgia player partner AirStar.

"We're kind of waiting to see as far as current or anything like that and trying to see what comes about," Stoddard said. "You know, we've had the opportunity. I've been reached out to about a couple other players at the University of Georgia and then also some players other places as well."
