If the measure of a man is how much he will be missed, take some small comfort in knowing that Graeme will be missed by all of the thousands of individuals who read and post messages on this site. Whether or not you agreed with him, and if you were here long enough, you were bound to disagree with him at times, he had a genuinely infectious personality. If he posted, you read it. You relished it. You often came on the board just to see if it was there. A real-life cult of personality.
Since he passed a couple of days ago, I've been in a bit of a shock. I've read things in the past about other posters and their families that tugged at the heart, but in all those cases, there was still some distance because even though you knew of a person, to the extent you knew them from their posts on this board, you only knew them as a screen name. What makes Ghost different than EVERY other person who has posted on this site is that you felt like you knew HIM even for those of us who never had the good fortune to meet him. For that reason, this hits very close to home for all of us in the Vent community. We all feel like we lost a member of our family, and this board will never be the same without him. Ever.
