He was one of my best friends. I had just spoken with him Sunday and I am still replaying in my head the call I got from Donna yesterday morning telling me the news. I honestly dreaded the call I got from Scott more because that gave me confirmation again. I've been shook up ever since.
I first met Graeme in 2001. I lived in Woodstock at the time and he sent me an email about a post I had on the DawgVent. I was one of the original DawgVent regulars back when it was on the PlutoCenturian or whatever server. Come to find out he lived in an apartment complex that was basically in my backyard. We met at Buffalo's and he was one of my best friends ever since. Whether it was at Flashers and Mardi Gras, a Georgia game, or enjoying Fondue with his family we had many good times and I have countless memories! We had many good times!
The one thing about Graeme is he was VERY passionate and protective of the people he cares about. I mean VERY in an extreme kind of way. He cared about his family, friends, pets, and the Mighty G. He was a friend who I knew if I needed to go to war he would be there right beside me and he would ask me what we are fighting for after it is over. If he saw you as disrespecting the 'G'... He would definitely let you know.
When it came to online, people either loved him or hated him. But there is one thing nobody could ever question and that is his passion!
Many of us felt like we knew Ghost without ever meeting him, he'll be missed!
