I had a chance to meet and friend Ghost in 2008 at a Barnes and Noble in Alpharetta. I have a photographic memory when it comes to faces and when I saw him I knew him immediately based off of a past vent picture that he had posted. We became fast friends because we both loved the dawgs and could spew endless recruiting info.

I became FB friends with him that night. Two two weeks later my own brother was killed in a car accident. The accident was posted on FB and a week later we had my brother's funeral.

As I stood shaking hands and hugging the attendees, low and behold, Ghost was standing there at the end of the line waiting to give me a big hug. I had known him about two weeks and there he was.

We never became good friends, but we became brothers that day at the funeral. We talked from time to time after that on the phone, but life got in the way.

Godspeed to you brother. You will be missed and I personally will never forget you. I hope you are waiting there at the end of the line when my time comes.
