It didn't Dawg Days to get off to a successful start for Georgia Friday as the Bulldogs picked up a commitment from wide receiver/defensive back Shaquery Wilson.
A three-star prospect out of Miami's Coral Gables High, Wilson plays both positions in high school and is being recruited to play both by the Bulldogs.
"They (Georgia coaches) keep it real, and they won't lie to you. When I got offered at DB, Coach (Jeremy Pruitt) started coaching me up, and I was just letting him say what he said," Wilson recently told UGASports.com. "He said I could make millions at corner, and I just went with that. If they move me to corner, I'll play it. It really doesn't matter what I play. For instance, if I go to Georgia and they've got a lot of receivers, I'll play corner. It really doesn't matter to me. If it's for the team, I'll do it."
Wilson chose the Bulldogs over 17 other schools who had made offers.
He's the 14th commitment to the Bulldogs' Class of 2015.
Much more to come.
